| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel delivery pipe may become damaged due to contact with the engine wiring harness. As a result, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire._x000D_ Note: Vehicle occupants may identify a fuel odour when driving and/or fuel under vehicle. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders and/or property. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing by Renault Australia to schedule an appointment to have the fuel supply pipe inspected and replaced, free of charge. |
