| Defect | Due to a manufacturing issue, the front axle brake hoses may deteriorate over time. If this occurs, it could lead to a brake fluid leak resulting in reduced braking performance. A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Audi Australia Pty Ltd and are asked to arrange with their nearest authorised Audi dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge. |
