| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the alternator wiring harness connector may short circuit and become damaged. If this occurs, it could lead to a thermal overload resulting in a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire may increase the risk of serious injury or death to the rider, other road users, bystanders and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should contact their nearest authorised Triumph dealership fit a new wire alignment clip, free of charge. |
