| Defect | Due to a software issue, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) may impact the hybrid battery assist function. | Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Mazda Australia once the remedy is available asking them to book an appointment to update the PCM, BECM and Dash-ESU with a revised calibration, free of charge. |
