DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, under certain driving conditions the engine cooling fan fuse may fail. As a result, the engine may overheat leading to a sudden loss of motive power whilst driving. A sudden loss of motive power whilst driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles should immediately contact their preferred KGM SsangYong dealer to schedule an appointment to have the cooling fan fuse replaced, free of charge.
