| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, under certain driving conditions the engine cooling fan fuse may fail. As a result, the engine may overheat leading to a sudden loss of motive power whilst driving. A sudden loss of motive power whilst driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should immediately contact their preferred KGM SsangYong dealer to schedule an appointment to have the cooling fan fuse replaced, free of charge. |
