| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the gear selector switch may fail and send an incorrect signal to the main control unit. This may result in an unintended deceleration, stopping and reversing of the vehicle. An unintended deceleration, stopping and reversing of the vehicle may increase the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
