DefectThe front gooseneck of the trailer may have insufficient reinforcement and could crack. If this occurs, it could lead to a loss of trailer control and/or detachment from the tow vehicle. A loss of trailer control and/or detachment from the tow vehicle will increase the risk of an accident potentially resulting in serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted and asked to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
