| Defect | Due to a software issue, when the vehicle starts the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail to illuminate visual critical safety information upon start-up. A loss of critical safety warning information whilst driving, could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road user and bystanders. |
| Remedy | Owners will be contacted in writing requesting they contact an Authorised Ford Dealer to have their vehicle IPC software updated, free of charge. |
