| Defect | Takata airbag inflators are subject to a compulsory recall. Airbag inflator: As the airbag gets older, a combination of high temperatures and humidity can cause the airbag inflator propellant to degrade. | Remedy | Check the manufacturing date of your vehicle. You will find this on the European type approval label, located on the driver's side B pillar and visible when you open the driver’s door.
