| Defect | Due to a manufacturing issue, the wiring harness between the door pressure sensor and the airbag control unit has an incorrect connector pin allocation. An incorrectly assigned sensor can delay the side airbag trigger in crash situations. A delayed trigger of the side airbag can increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants. |
