| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the ball joint brackets mounting bolts on the front lower suspension arm may break. This may cause the wheel to change direction and result in a loss of vehicle control. A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Peugeot requesting them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge. |
