DefectOn one truck, the ball stud on the lift axle tie rod(s) may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the stud could fail and cause the tie rod(s) to separate from the axle._x000D_ Note: This recall only affects a truck equipped with a Hendrickson Composilite steerable lift axle._x000D_ A tie rod that separates could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of injury.

RemedyVolvo Trucks will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the lift axle tie rod(s).
