DefectDue to an inappropriate control program in the engine control unit, when rotational fluctuations occur due to load during idling, the system may incorrectly detect a misfire, deactivate cylinder combustion, illuminate the engine warning light (MIL), and potentially cause exhaust gas emissions to exceed standard values. In the worst case, the engine may stall during idling.
