DefectOn certain trucks, the reverse lamp assemblies may not be sealed correctly. As a result, over time, water could leak into the lamp(s) and cause them not to work._x000D_ Note: This recall affects both Tundra and Tundra Hybrid models._x000D_ Reverse lamps that don't work could cause others not to recognize when a vehicle is backing up, and increase the risk of a crash.

RemedyToyota will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace both reverse lamp assemblies. Additionally, the dealer will inspect and, if necessary, repair the wiring for the reverse lamps.
