Defect	Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause a loss of brakes._x000D_ A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy	To reduce the safety risk, Polestar recommends not to use the "One Pedal Drive" drive mode until the recall repairs are completed. Polestar will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update for the brake control module software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Polestar dealership.
