DefectOn one motorhome, brake fluid may be present in the brake pressure switch and wire harness. As a result, the brake switch could short circuit._x000D_ A short circuit can cause wiring to overheat and create the risk of a fire, even while the motorhome is parked and turned off.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises that you should park your motorhome outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their motorhome to a General Motors dealership to replace the brake pressure switch and wire harness.
