DefectOn certain vehicles, the side curtain airbag inflator(s) could rupture and separate unexpectedly. As a result, a piece of metal from the inflator could be propelled toward vehicle occupants with or without the airbag(s) deploying. This could also cause the side curtain airbag(s) not to inflate properly in a crash._x000D_ Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-241._x000D_ An airbag inflator that ruptures can create a risk of injury. Additionally, an airbag that doesn't inflate properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
