DefectIn the engine ECU of large route buses, due to insufficient design review, the following defects may occur. ① If poor engagement between the pinion gear and ring gear occurs during starter operation, current continues to flow to the coil side, driving the motor without passing through the main switch contacts. As a result, if the coil is damaged by thermal stress, the starter becomes inoperable, preventing the engine from starting. ② Clogging of the DPF or a decrease in the efficiency of the oxidation catalyst may be incorrectly detected.
