| Defect | In the final drive (reduction gear) of some shovel loaders, due to insufficient design instructions, the bolts securing the ring gear may have insufficient torque. As a result, if use continues in this condition, the bolts may loosen, causing abnormal noise and oil leakage from the final drive, and in the worst case, the wheel may detach. |
| Component | Ring gear securing bolts for the final drive (reduction gear) |
| Remedy | For all vehicles, replace the bolts securing the ring gear in the final drive of both the front and rear axles, and tighten them using the proper method. Furthermore, if loosening, detachment, or damage of the bolts is confirmed, the axle will be replaced. |
