DefectDue to improper management of the clutch plate in the power transmission system, rust-preventative oil remaining on the clutch plate may mix with wear particles from the friction material of the friction plate. When heat is applied during operation, a sticky substance may form and not be discharged. As a result, even if the clutch lever is squeezed, power transmission may not be disengaged, and in the worst case, the vehicle may move forward when stopped.
ComponentPower transmission system (clutch plate)
RemedyFor all affected vehicles, the clutch plate will be replaced with an improved part, and the friction plate will be replaced with a new one.
