DefectIn large and medium-sized tour buses, due to improper rust prevention treatment for the metal fittings that secure the resin cover of the ceiling air conditioner unit, some of these fittings may develop rust. Therefore, if use continues in this condition, the joining strength of these fittings will decrease due to the progression of rust, and in the worst case, if subjected to strong crosswinds or similar forces, the cover may lift, the fixed part may be damaged, and the cover may detach from the ceiling air conditioner unit.
ComponentOther devices (Ceiling air conditioner unit)
RemedyFor all vehicles, additional rivet fastening will be added to the mounting brackets of each ceiling air conditioner unit cover, and an L-shaped frame will be added to the cover fixing part of the side cover frame.
