DefectIn the adjustment unit of the intake and exhaust variable valve timing system, due to insufficient strength of the bolt, the bolt may break. As a result, the system may not operate properly, the engine warning light may illuminate, leading to engine malfunction, and in the worst case, the engine may stop while driving.

RemedyFor all vehicles, replace the bolt with an improved part. Additionally, if the bolt is loose or damaged, replace it with a new adjustment unit incorporating the improved bolt.
