Defect	In the eCall system, due to an inappropriate control program in the telematics control unit, after the connection is lost in an out-of-service area during a call, it does not automatically reconnect even when entering a service area. Therefore, it does not comply with safety standards.

Remedy	For all vehicles, the telematics control unit will be rewritten with a countermeasure program. The program rewrite will be performed by the user, with the countermeasure program remotely distributed via wireless communication, or it can be performed at a dealership.
