DefectIn the holder attached to the steering controller of agricultural tractors, the design for water intrusion is insufficient, which may allow water to enter the holder and cause rust on the spline connected to the holder. Additionally, due to insufficient design against vibration wear, the spline may wear out due to rust and vibration. If use continues as is, spline wear will progress, and in the worst case, the steering may spin freely, making steering operation impossible.

RemedyFor all vehicles, as a measure against water intrusion, a sealing material will be added to the top of the steering controller, and the holder will be replaced with one that includes a splash-proof cover. As a measure against vibration wear, the shaft connected to the holder will be replaced with an improved part. If surrounding parts, including the steering controller, are seized, or if the steering controller's spline shows abnormal wear, related parts will be replaced with new ones. *1 For replacement parts, refer to the improvement location diagram. *2 As part preparation takes time, user…
