DefectDue to improper drilling depth of the bolt hole in the cable fastening part inside the steering wheel, some cables may not be properly crimped when the bolts are tightened. This may lead to poor contact, potentially causing the hands-off warning and emergency stop functions to not operate correctly.

RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect the bolt fastening part of the cable inside the steering wheel, and if necessary, install a washer and reassemble.
