DefectIn the electrical wiring, due to improper instructions for removing spatter* during frame welding, some spatter remains in the main harness routing area. As a result, the harness interferes with the spatter, and if use continues, the wire insulation may wear down, exposing the core wire and causing a short circuit. This could lead to malfunctions of headlights, turn signals, speedometer, etc., or make the vehicle unable to run. *Metal particles generated during welding that adhere to the frame.
ComponentElectrical wiring (main harness)
RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect the main harness for damage and add protective material (grommets, etc.). If the main harness is damaged, replace it with a countermeasure part.
