DefectRegarding the screw that secures the reservoir tank cap of the rear brake master cylinder, due to improper tightening work instructions, there are some screws with insufficient tightening torque. As a result, if use is continued in this condition, the screw may loosen and brake fluid may leak, and in the worst case, the brake fluid in the reservoir tank may run out, potentially increasing the braking distance.
ComponentBraking system (rear brake master cylinder)
RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect and clean the brake fluid level and check for leaks, then tighten the screw to the specified torque. Additionally, if the brake fluid is insufficient, replenish the brake fluid to the specified level.
