Defect	Regarding the side guard (underrun protection device), due to insufficient design review, some reinforcement parts of the side guard stay are in close proximity to the fuel tank band that secures the fuel tank. As a result, due to vehicle vibration during driving, the side guard stay reinforcement part and the fuel tank band may interfere, and in the worst case, the fuel tank band may break, causing the fuel tank to fall off and potentially obstructing other traffic.

Remedy	For all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the side guard stay reinforcement part and the fuel tank band. For those where the side guard stay reinforcement part is in close proximity to the fuel tank band, replace the side guard stay reinforcement part with a countermeasure part.
