DefectDue to insufficient circuit design in the rear door open switch, if the door is closed with extreme force while water is accumulated near the switch, the sealing performance may temporarily decrease, allowing water to enter the circuit and cause a short circuit. As a result, the door may be ajar and the warning light may illuminate, and in the worst case, there is a risk of the door opening unintentionally.
ComponentDoor (Electrical wiring)
RemedyFor all vehicles, electrical wiring with a relay will be added to the left and right rear door circuits to prevent unintentional door opening.
