DefectIn the electric power steering system, due to improper installation of the harness connector, some may not be properly engaged. As a result, if the connector detaches due to driving vibrations, etc., the warning light will illuminate, and there is a risk that the steering effort will increase.

RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect whether the connector is properly engaged. For vehicles where the connector is not properly engaged, replace the steering gear box with a new one.
