DefectIn the engine control unit, due to an inappropriate control program, misfires may occur in the mode that heats the catalyst for warm-up. As a result, the engine warning light (MIL) illuminates, engine vibration increases due to the stop of fuel injection to the affected cylinder, and in the worst case, exhaust gas values may exceed regulatory limits.
