DefectRegarding the locking device, due to an improper tightening method of the bolt that secures the handlebar lock, some bolts may have insufficient fastening force. Therefore, if use continues as is, the bolt may loosen, and there is a risk that the handlebar cannot be locked when parked. Furthermore, if a detached bolt gets caught in the frame, in the worst case, there is a risk that the handlebar cannot be steered, leading to a fall.
ComponentLocking device (Handlebar lock)
RemedyFor all vehicles, replace the handlebar lock tightening bolt with a new one and tighten it to the specified torque. As it will take time to prepare the parts, the details of the defect will be announced, and customers will be contacted again once preparations are complete.
