DefectDue to an inappropriate control value writing program in the vehicle control ECU, an incorrect Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) may be written to the engine ECU. As a result, the Vehicle Identification Number cannot be displayed by diagnostic tools, and there is a risk of non-compliance with safety standards.
