DefectIn the electric power steering, due to insufficient design review of the steering gear box control unit software, when the steering moment sensor fails, the auxiliary sensor may not transmit correct information to the electric control motor, causing the steering assist function to become unstable. As a result, while driving, steering effort may increase, vibrations may occur in the steering wheel, and in the worst case, the steering wheel may turn unintentionally.

RemedyFor all vehicles, the software will be rewritten with a countermeasure program. The above measure will be carried out by one of the following methods: By bringing the vehicle to a dealership and connecting it to a diagnostic tool. Once preparations are complete, it will be delivered to the affected vehicles via remote distribution for the user to install themselves.
