DefectIn shovel loaders, etc., due to insufficient design review, ① the fuel injector's spray nozzle wears out due to deterioration over time, increasing fuel injection volume, ② dust, etc., adheres to the inside of the variable turbo, reducing air supply efficiency, and ③ dust that could not be captured by the air cleaner adheres to the sensing part of the MAF sensor*, leading to misrecognition of a higher air flow rate than actual. RemedyFor all vehicles, the following countermeasures will be implemented: ① Replace the fuel injector with an improved part. ② Rewrite the controller program with an improved program. ③ Add the operating method for MAF sensor automatic correction to the owner's manual. ④ Affix a nameplate to the air cleaner element cover to encourage the implementation of MAF sensor automatic correction.
