DefectDue to a design flaw in the rear fixing bolt of the fastening device rail, the fixing bolt may break in the event of a rear impact accident. In such a case, the fastening device rail may detach instead of deforming as intended by design, potentially damaging the rear seat backrest and increasing the risk of injury to occupants, leading to a recall.
ComponentOther seating and interior devices
RemedyAdd washers to the rear fixing part of the fastening device rail in the trunk and replace with stronger fixing bolts.
