DefectDue to minor structural design of the camshaft fixing plate, the fixing bolts may loosen due to engine vibration and thermal expansion during vehicle operation. In such cases, the camshaft may move axially (front-to-back), causing noise and the engine to stop, or in the worst case, the engine may not restart. This recall is initiated due to the confirmation of this possibility.
ComponentEngine (Power generation system) Other
Remedy1. Remove the existing camshaft fixing plate and replace it with an improved part that has enhanced adhesion compared to the original. 2. Replace bolts with new ones and reset torque.
