DefectThe possibility of bearing damage due to foreign matter generated during the manufacturing process of the connecting rod or the manufacturing quality of the crankshaft has been confirmed, and this may lead to precursor symptoms such as abnormal engine noise, engine warning light illumination, high engine RPM, abnormal gear shifting, reduced power, and inability to restart when the engine is damaged, and if the engine is damaged, loss of propulsion and engine stall may occur while driving, which could increase the risk of collision and compromise safety, leading to a recall.

RemedyAfter engine diagnosis, engine repair or replacement will be performed. Additionally, regardless of the diagnosis result, the warranty period for this issue will be extended from the original 5 years or 100,000 km to 10 years or 24 km. 1. No problem found during diagnosis: Replace with high-viscosity engine oil with excellent wear resistance, replace engine oil cap, provide guide on using high-viscosity engine oil. 2. Problem found during diagnosis: Engine replacement.
