DefectNissan New Zealand (Nissan) is advising the Dealer network of the requirement to conduct a Recall Campaign for the Takata airbag inflator. _x000D_ _x000D_ Since 2013 Nissan New Zealand has been advising the Dealer network of the requirement to conduct various_x000D_ Airbag Recall Campaigns which involved of the replacement of airbag inflators in certain Nissan vehicles._x000D_ _x000D_ The Owners of these specific vehicles may have previously been advised that their vehicle was not affected by the TAKATA Campaign. However, recent advice from our parent company is that they are now affected.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles within the affected VIN range will be advised by letter and other communication means to contact their Nissan Dealer to arrange for rectification of their vehicle to have their passenger airbag inflator replaced.
