| Defect | We have discovered isolated irregularities on high-voltage batteries in Audi Q5, A6 and A7 vehicles with hybrid drive systems. A measure is necessary as deviations from important technical parameters have been discovered on isolated battery modules. These may result in the affected battery modules becoming defective over the course of the vehicle’s service life. In turn, this may result in a fire hazard when charging the high-voltage battery, with the associated risk of severe or fatal injuries to people inside and/or outside the vehicle, as well as significant material damage. |
| Remedy | The owners of affected vehicles will be notified in writing according to specific market requirements. |
