| Defect | We found the issue that the AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) system remains active when the trailer wiring harness is connected, potentially posing a safety risk while towing. The solution is to replace the existing wiring harness with a new, modified one, provided free of charge (FOC), which will deactivate the AEB system when a trailer is plugged in, ensuring safe towing conditions. |
| Remedy | This modification is necessary to avoid the activation of the AEB system while the trailer is connected, ensuring safe towing conditions. We will be replacing the existing wiring harness with a new modified one, and we would like to assure you that this replacement will be performed at NO COST to you. In the meantime, we kindly request that you refrain from using your trailer until the modified wiring harness has been installed. Our team will be in touch with you shortly to schedule a convenient time for you to bring your vehicle in for the modification. |
