| Defect | The piston rings fitted to the engines of certain vehicles may not meet manufacturing specifications, and could result in internal damage to the engine. A damaged engine may result in the vehicle stalling and/or engine oil leaking |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should contact their Kia dealer to schedule an appointment to have the engine inspected, tested and checked for defects in line with the recall. |
