DefectOn Audi Q7, Q8 and A8 PHEV vehicles manufactured within a specific period, individual battery modules on potentially affected vehicles may show deviations in important technical parameters. These deviations may indicate a defect on the affected battery modules. If a defect of this nature is present, it may result in a fire hazard when charging the high-voltage battery, with the associated risk of severe or fatal injuries to people inside and/or outside the vehicle, as well as significant material damage.
