Hazard descriptionThe coaster brake on the rear wheel may malfunction during use. Risk of accident and serious injury if the coaster brake on the rear wheel malfunctions during use, preventing the rider from stopping safely and causing a fall.
RemedyImmediately stop using your Giant Animator and Liv Adore (Coaster Brake) bicycle. Check your bicycle serial number to see if it is affected: You can find the serial number either stamped on the underside of the bottom bracket shell, or on a sticker located at the base of the down tube on its underside. If the serial number of your bicycle matches any on the list of affected bicycles, return your bicycle to an authorised Giant and Liv dealer for a free inspection and replacement of the rear wheel.
