Defect	Regarding J12 vehicles produced at the NMUK plant for the European and several markets, Nissan has identified a condition in which abnormal communication between the Main CPU and the Communication IC within the Lithium-Ion Battery Controller (LBC) may result in an incorrect diagnosis of a battery system fault. If communication between these two components becomes abnormal for any reason, the vehicle enters a fail-safe mode.
