DefectIssue: On certain buses, the emergency brake valve may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the valve could become loose or disconnect and cause an air leak. If this happens, the parking brake could apply suddenly while driving without the brake lights turning on. Safety Risk: A parking brake that self-applies suddenly while driving without the brake lights turning on could cause a person not to recognize that the vehicle is braking.
