DefectIn the power converter (inverter), due to an improper soldering process for the circuit board, some parts may not be properly soldered, and repeated thermal expansion and contraction can cause cracks in the solder joints. As a result, contact at the terminals may become unstable, disrupting control signals, leading to a short circuit inside the inverter, which may cause the EV system warning light to illuminate and render the vehicle unable to drive. Furthermore, if the vehicle's control circuit is damaged by this short circuit, continuous current flow can cause harnesses and other components…

RemedyFor all affected vehicles, the inverter will be replaced with a good one, and fault codes will be checked to confirm no related abnormalities. Additionally, for some vehicles, the MCU (Motor Control Unit) will be replaced with a new one.
