| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the brake pedal rod may not have been fastened to the specified torque and could detach. If this occurs, it can result in a reduction in braking performance and/or a loss of vehicle control._x000D_ Note: the parking brake can still be used to stop the vehicle. A reduction in braking performance and/or a loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users. |
