DefectDue to a software issue in the Integrated Charging Control Unit, the auxiliary 12 Volt battery may not charge as intended, resulting in battery drainage and loss of motive power. A loss of motive power whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Hyundai dealer to schedule an appointment to have the software updated, free of charge._x000D_ Note: Recall REC-005942 has now been superseded by REC-006224.
