DefectThe rear double seat belt buckles may have been incorrectly anchored. As a result, when the centre seat belt is fastened the buckle could interfere with the left seat belt buckle and potentially release it. If the seat belt does not operate as intended, the occupant may not receive the full protection of the seatbelt system. This could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred Smart Authorised Service Partner to schedule an appointment to have until the double seat belt buckle adjusted, free of charge._x000D_ Note: We recommend that customers do not use the centre rear seat position until the double seat belt buckle has been adjusted.
